JUST LAUNCHED: THE CLAPTONE COMIC
By Chronic Innovations Collaborator
Claptone has announced the launch of an all-new superhero-style comic book portraying the mysterious DJ and producer as protagonist.
Written by Krishna Devasabal and drawn by artist Vee Ladwa, the magazine depicts the masked artist as a superhero who must save the population of a farflung planet by using his sonic powers. Ladwa has previously created postcard designs for Claptone as well as the stop motion video for his track ‘Animal’, featuring American indie rock group Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
Released today, the comic will be sold alongside two shirts with motives from the comic.
"LIKE ALL OF US, I ALWAYS WANTED TO BECOME A SUPERHERO. NOW MY DREAM - AT LEAST IN THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL - CAME TRUE! TOLD YOU I GOT MAGIC POWERS,
