After Claptone's virtual 'Claptone In The Circus' residency earlier this year, the masked man has decided to continue the live streaming - every Saturday at 9pm CET

Up to an hour long, every set is specially themed for your listening pleasure during quarantine and beyond, and includes various unreleased originals, remixes and secret edits. Occasionally you'll catch Claptone playing one of his rare vinyl sets, where he takes you on a journey, deep into his extensive record collection, and shares some of his favourite hidden gems with you.

"Vinyl has always been my passion and my collection is unfathomable. I’ll give you exclusive insight into the sonic treasures and secrets of my 12”, and share gems with you, that you most likely have never heard before, and probably won’t hear ever again." Claptone says, as he puts on his white gloves, starting to dig out his favourite records for this week's set.

Claptone just got voted as 'Highest House Artist' in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Poll for the 4th time in a row. He also went up 12 positions from last year's rank and is now on number 41 of the overall top 100!

"Looking back at the confusing past months we all had, makes me realise, that what I am holding here in my hands means even more to me this year. We all haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together lately, and trust me, playing music for you guys is by far the thing I miss the most at the moment.

Having unveiled the video for HiRUDiN album cut “I Am Not Waiting” last month, Austra aka Katie Austra Stelmanis is now pleased to share a remix of the track by mysterious masked producer Claptone, who layer bouncing synths and driving beats to compliment Stelmanis’ powerhouse vocals. Austra and Claptone previously collaborated on his 2018 song “La Esperanza”.

Claptone prepared a very special Essential Mix in collaboration with Pacha Ibiza. Originally it has been broadcasted on BBC Radio 1 last month, but you can listen back via Soundcloud or Mixcloud now.

The new mix covers more than 100 tracks in 2 hours and is packed with lots of exclusives, remixes, edits and unreleased material. It's inspired by Claptone's weekly 'The Masquerade' residency at Pacha Ibiza. 'The Masquerade' started last year and will return on Saturdays for the 2021 Season in Ibiza.

It's that time of the year again - the DJ Mag Top 100 voting has started. After being voted 'Highest House Artist' for two years in a row with an overall position of #53 last year, Claptone is hoping to bring some House into the top 100 list once again this year.

Earlier this year, enigmatic DJ and producer ​​Claptone ​has linked up with ​​Mylo to ​​‘Drop The Pressure’, and after dominating the Beatport top 100 for several weeks with the original track, it is now time to drop a stellar remix package.

The package includes remixes by Australian tech favourite ​Sonny Fodera and German remix don Purple Disco Machine​, with the latter already racking up more than​ 500,000 streams​, followed by mixes by London-based DJ as well as producer ​1991 ​and UK duo ​MANT.

Welcome to CLAPTONE in The Circus, a series of DJ sets, live and direct from a small circus in need of support during these challenging times - Claptone's latest residency, so to speak. Twelve weeks in a row, we will dance together, to specially themed mixes, and at the same time support a kind circus family and their happy, loving animals. During this new Claptone venture we’ll be introduced to more than 40 exclusive and unreleased Claptone originals, remixes and edits. 

To make it even more spellbinding, in each episode, CLAPTONE’s DJ Set will be accompanied by the dazzling performance artists that inhabit the grounds of the circus. They will, at safe distances of course, enact the most thrilling of performances, to compliment the dreamy melodies and funky rhythms. Exciting jugglers, daring knife-throwers, a regal pony show and much more, await you every Wednesday, starting on April 22nd. 

"In these trying times, I’ve often found myself going on long, isolated walks to appreciate the beauty of nature. It was on one of these scenic, afternoon journeys that I first stumbled upon a tiny family-run circus. The circus director told me about their struggle to pay the rent and buy food for the animals since the pandemic hit, as they couldn’t put on public shows. 

The following day, I returned, this time, with fresh carrots in hand, hoping to be able to meet and feed the animals. It was then and there that I decided not simply to donate food and money, but to play specially themed and carefully selected sets at this little circus, involving parts of their show, to bring joy to my friends and fans in sound and vision." says CLAPTONE.
